Students interested in applying for admission should submit a completed Application, their current school transcript, and three (3) teacher recommendation forms.

Teacher recommendation forms should be given to your language arts or English teacher, your math teacher, and another teacher of your choice (preferably a teacher who has knowledge of your computer skills). The teachers should send the completed recommendation forms directly to us.

Application and acceptance deadlines are set and strictly enforced by the Alachua County School Board, and it is important to meet the deadlines. Please check the School Board website for the most recently established due dates.

Academy students who live outside the Buchholz school zone will be provided transportation by the school district. Therefore upon acceptance to the Academy, students who live outside the Buchholz school zone should complete a Zoning Exemption Request form and a Transportation Request form.
